Kultali Dr. B.R. Ambedker College is situated in very remote rural area of South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, within Sundarban “belt. It is established in 2005. It is around 20 km. away from JaynagarMajilpur railway station.
Our main focus is to impart education to students of such backward area comprehensively. Not only these, teachers guides and trying to help students at personal levels also. Apart from this the college has a NSS unit which is trying to serve the college both internally & externally. Through it, the students learns to serve the community in a much better way in a like blood donation camp, health check up, plantation, cleanliness etc. Our college has a big playground and a big gallery which afford five thousand peoples, students etc.
We believe that comprehensive development of the students cannot be achieved unless they are equipped with human values. In order to reach their fullest potentiality, human values have to be incurred in them from the start. With this target the college have started some value based course, seminars etc in this regard .We have started many certificate courses like communication skill, proof reading, editing, microsoft office, data entry,etc . It will continue side by side with regular curriculum, through which a student will become self-dependent.It will give them extra mileage along with the regular course they are continuing. For it will help them to think in a broader perspective , which will help them to become a good human being.
Nonetheless we are proud of our teaching faculties for their sound academic backgrounds and good communication skill. Moreover they have the talent to inculcate value based good relationship with students as well as among themselves.
