BENGALI

The Department of Bengali was established in 2005 and Bengali has been taught since the very beginning. Now, We provide the candidates with ug programme like 4 years Major and 3 years minor. We can proudly say that our Department is the largest amongst the others having almost four hundred students of all the three academic sessions of 4 years Major and 3 years minor. The teachers are competent, punctual and enthusiastic.

Now We have Prof. Paritosh Mondal, Dr. Sujata Banerjee, Dr. Rupam Pramanik (HOD), Nasiruddin Purkait and Saswati Mandal. Having a low teacher-student ratio, we have requested Professors from Jangipur College, Kotshila Mahavidyalaya and Lokepara Mahavidyalaya and also three Invitee Dr. Raktim Sarkar , Prof. Tanmay Mondal & Dr. Panchali Mukherjee Who have taken part in both the online & offline Teaching.

Many of our pass outs are now working in government and non-government sectors. We are very proud of them and we discuss the welfare of the department. We keep frequent contact with the guardians. We publish wall-magazine yearly. We also celebrate “Basanta Utsav”, “Bhasa Dibas” and “Rabindra Joyonti” for the all over development of our students. We, all professors and students are jointly support AMPHAN effected people of Kultali in May, 2020.
